What is Massage Therapy?
Massage is one of the oldest, simplest forms of therapy and is a system of pressing and kneading different areas of the body to relieve pain and relax the body.
Massage does more than create relaxation for your mind, body & spirit, it also works on the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) to improve muscle tone. Massage also circulates blood and assists the lymphatic system, improving the elimination of toxins throughout the body.
Both Eastern and Western modalities are used including Swedish, cupping, therapeutic, deep tissue, TuiNa, and hot stones.
